Privacy, explained
in plain language.
How this early RankScout website and the free local keyword demo handle information.
This is project-specific draft copy, not a substitute for professional legal review or a verification of your hosting provider’s actual data practices.
Scope and status
This privacy information describes the current static public website and browser-based keyword idea demo. It is a draft intended for owner review before public launch. Future login, analytics, uploads and integrations will require an updated notice.
Information processed in your browser
When you enter a keyword in the demo, the included JavaScript creates phrase variations in your browser. The supplied site code does not submit these keywords to a RankScout server or store them in a RankScout database.
Hosting and technical logs
A web hosting provider may process IP addresses, requested URLs, request times, user-agent information and other standard technical logs to deliver and protect the site. These are controlled by your hosting configuration and provider policies.
Cookies and analytics
This version does not intentionally set cookies or include third-party advertising, analytics or tracking scripts. Any cookies or scripts injected by your hosting provider, CDN, or later deployment changes must be reviewed and disclosed before launch.
External links
Links to external sites may be added in later releases. Once you leave RankScout, those websites have their own privacy practices.
Retention and control
The demo does not persist submitted keywords to a RankScout account. Text may remain temporarily in your browser while the page is open; closing or refreshing the page clears the active demo state. Host logs follow the provider settings and retention configuration.
Updates and questions
This notice should be updated whenever accounts, imports, external SEO APIs, analytics or billing go live. The site owner must provide a verified contact method and publish a reviewed privacy notice before production launch.
