10 helpful answersHow can we help?
Can I use the free demo right now?
Yes. Open the demo from any page. Enter a seed keyword, generate locally constructed keyword ideas, and copy or download the result. The tool runs in your browser without an account.
Where do keyword ideas come from?
The demo uses simple, transparent templates attached to your seed phrase. It does not fetch search results or query a live keyword database.
Do keyword counts or search volume represent Google data?
No. The demo shows a count of locally generated phrases. It does not provide search volume, CPC, ranking positions, or organic keyword difficulty.
Can I import CSV files yet?
Not in this public-site release. CSV import and comparison tools are planned for the research portal phases.
Can I create an account and save research?
Accounts and server-side saved projects are not available in this phase. The upcoming user portal will add persistent storage and project ownership.
Is the prototype free?
Yes. The current public site and local demo do not require paid services, API keys, or payment details.
What happens to the keyword I enter?
The included demo processes it locally in your browser; its code does not transmit the phrase to RankScout. A web host may still log normal page requests. See our Privacy page.
Why do some features say planned?
We publish feature statuses honestly. Content gaps, clustering, accounts, admin tools and imported metrics will be implemented in later project phases.
The demo button does not open. What should I check?
Enable JavaScript, use a current browser, and try refreshing. Some restrictive browser settings may block interactive features or clipboard access.
Copy did not work. How can I keep the ideas?
If clipboard permission is unavailable, the demo offers a text-file download as a fallback.
Try a different keyword such as “demo”, “account” or “CSV”.
The free prototype does not yet have a support-ticket inbox. For now, these help articles document the supported functions and limitations.
